  Went to Best Buy on Boxing Day. Was looking to get a smart thermostat. But I wanted to price match Home Depot. Then they said no price matching on Boxing Day, come back tomorrow (Wednesday). Then I went Wednesday, and they said sorry, we start price matching tomorrow.

  What a mess of a store. They have boxes on the shelves that they don't even carry, and no one seems to understand the store policy. Then the big manager proceeds to just slam the seasonal staff and blame them.

  Which brings me to today, I go in, bring the empty box to the front (stupid store policy, should just have the actual item on the shelf), and the girl at the checkout has NO IDEA on the price match policy. She says it is price match PLUS 10% off (same as the girl on Boxing Day said), then the big store manager comes over and says it is 10% off of the price match difference and they don't even have any in stock even though there were 4-5 boxes back on the shelf.

  I always liked this store. Had a funny experience last time where there was 1 person on the checkout till and about 10 people in line, meanwhile there was 3 employees behind the service desk and more standing around. People were getting quite mad, it was amusing.

  A staff member greated me at the door and took me right to what I was there to buy. The gentleman was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will return to this store.

  Either way, there's a reason these type of stores are becoming extinct and I'm sure in 2-3 years, Best Buy will be where Zellers and Sears is now.
